Ingredients

 Maxbauer's Homemade Old-Fashioned Smoked Ham
 1 cup Yellow Mustard
 1 cup Light Brown Sugar
 ½ cup Vernors or Ginger Ale
 Whole Cloves for Studding (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Put oven rack in the middle of the oven. In a small bowl, mix together the mustard, brown sugar and ginger ale.

Score top of ham into diamonds and stud center of each diamond with a clove. Place the ham in a large roasting pan, fat side up (or cut side down, if half a ham). Bake for 20 minutes per pound. During last 45 minutes of cooking, spread glaze evenly over ham. Baste with additional glaze or drippings every 15 minutes. Ham will be very dark and shiny. Internal temperature should read 155 degrees.

Remove and let rest 15 minutes covered in foil. Carve and serve with glaze/drippings from pan to dip meat in.
